Proportional Exchange

Proportional Exchange means exactly what it sounds like: when value moves through SWIM, it flows to the people generating it — merchants who build offers, buyers who participate — not to SWIM as an extractive intermediary.

SWIM takes a small, transparent, fixed percentage of each transaction. That percentage is the same for every merchant, visible before signup, and never subject to hidden conditions. There are no “featured listing” fees that quietly suppress unsponsored offers. There are no premium tiers that charge merchants for basic functionality. There is no payment for visibility. Across all merchant types, the all-in total cost runs approximately 5–6% — transparent and predictable, with no penalties for growth.

Running reliable infrastructure for real businesses has a real cost. We charge a flat monthly fee per workspace — not to extract rent, but to keep the platform healthy for everyone on it. That fee is fixed. It does not grow because your revenue grew. It does not require advertising spend to surface your offers. It does not charge you for features you should have by default.

The tiers are straightforward:

Plan Streams included Monthly
Starter 2 streams $19.99
Growth 5 streams $29.99
Scale 10 streams $99.99

You can run as many workspaces as your business needs. A merchant managing multiple brands, product lines, or regional storefronts can separate them cleanly — each workspace independent, each billed at the tier that fits. The stream count inside each workspace is intentionally generous: we want you to build something meaningful, not hit a ceiling the moment your business starts moving.

Beyond the monthly workspace fee, SWIM earns when you earn — a fixed percentage of each completed transaction. If a merchant sells consistently, SWIM earns consistently and proportionally. The workspace fee keeps the lights on; the transaction model keeps our incentives aligned with yours.

Proportional Exchange isn’t only about merchants. Buyers who evaporate Drops to claim an MBO receive real, concrete value — not platform points, not loyalty miles that expire, not a discount on a future purchase that may never happen. The exchange is direct: Drops evaporated, offer delivered.

This keeps the ecosystem honest. Merchants are incentivized to price their offers in a way that makes the Drop cost feel worthwhile. Buyers are incentivized to purchase and spend Drops on things they actually want. SWIM’s take comes from facilitating genuine transactions, not from extracting margin from manufactured complexity.
