Managing Your Stream

Your Stream is your public presence on SWIM. This guide covers the day-to-day tasks of keeping it current, well-presented, and working for you.

Your Stream profile — name, bio, and profile image — is the first thing buyers see. Keep it accurate and on-brand. You can update it at any time from the merchant portal without affecting your active offers or your slug.

Your bio is a short-form introduction: who you are, what you sell, and why buyers should care. Treat it like a brief pitch. Buyers who land on an unfamiliar Stream decide quickly whether to stay; a clear bio makes the difference.

From your Stream dashboard, you can see all published and draft offers at a glance. Common tasks:

  • Publish a draft — takes an offer live on your Stream immediately
  • Unpublish an offer — removes it from public view without deleting it; useful for temporarily out-of-stock items
  • Edit an offer — update description, images, or Drop price at any time; changes take effect immediately on published offers
  • Mark as fulfilled — for physical and service offers, confirm fulfillment when delivery or completion is done

Keep your offer list current. Stale listings — offers that are claimed but never fulfilled, or descriptions that no longer match what you deliver — damage buyer trust and your merchant rating.

Detailed stream analytics are coming soon. When available, you’ll see visitor counts, offer view rates, claim rates by offer, and Drop economy metrics from within your merchant portal dashboard.

Your Stream lives at swimflows.com/streams/your-slug. This is permanent — it doesn’t change when you update your profile. Share it confidently in bios, newsletters, cards, and any channel where your buyers are.

The slug you chose at Stream creation is yours. If you need to change it for a legitimate reason (rebrand, legal name change), contact SWIM support — slug changes are handled manually to prevent broken links.

Stream customization options are expanding over time. Currently, your profile image and bio are the primary customization levers. Future releases will add cover images, featured offer placement, and additional layout options as the platform matures.
